Join Discovery's team in Timmins, Ontario as a Construction Miner. This position focuses on performing vital underground construction tasks in a team-oriented and safe environment. As a Construction Miner, you will be involved in all aspects of underground construction, utilizing your expertise in timbering, infrastructure installation, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct underground construction tasks, including cement work and shotcrete
- Install and remove services like water and air lines
- Operate jackleg, stoper, and other mobile machinery
- Read and interpret mining and construction plans
- Execute additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- High School Diploma and relevant certifications
- At least five years of mining experience, with a focus on construction
- Experience operating mobile equipment in underground settings
