Job Description
Join Brunel as a Mine Planning Engineer, focused on optimizing open pit production in Timmins, ON. Develop short-term mine plans and support operational efficiency while providing mentorship to junior engineers.
In this hands-on, site-based role, you'll be responsible for maintaining 0-12 month mine plans, enhancing planning accuracy, and driving the performance of open pit operations. You'll work collaboratively with Geology, Geotechnical, and Survey teams to ensure execution aligns with strategic goals and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create integrated schedules meeting operational targets
• Monitor production performance and adjust forecasts as needed
• Collaborate across teams to incorporate technical guidance into plans
• Manage consultants and contractors on engineering projects
• Present key plans and metrics to site leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
