Tissue Culture Lab Officer

Overview

This role is responsible for assisting the TCL Ops Lead with business volume expansion related to plantlet production and its optimal quality results, ensured via rigorous testing. This role will also act as EHS Area owner for the site, responsible for implementing applicable GEHSMS standards on the site. The role is responsible for ensuring coordination and seamless communication with the TCL Manager and for the implementation of best practices in the Tissue Culture Lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Tissue Culture Ops Lead on daily, weekly, and monthly crop analysis reports.
• Assess laboratory equipment for proper operation, and ensure timely calibration of the onsite equipment.
• Ensure proper maintenance and handling of potato germplasm in aseptic conditions.
