Job Description
Become CPKC's Track Supervisor, dedicated to maintaining track safety and integrity. This position supports efficient rail operations, headquartered in either Parry Sound or Sudbury, Ontario.
As part of the Engineering team, your role encompasses supervising track inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and effectively managing maintenance activities. You'll be the key figure who assesses risks and leads initiatives for optimal performance in CPKC's rail network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct track inspections and manage records
• Ensure adherence to federal safety standards
• Lead maintenance operations following renewal plans
• Set daily goals and coordinate with the Roadmaster
• Respond to emergency situations on a rotating basis
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• 2+ years hands-on track maintenance experience
