Trade Executive, Transpacific

Primary Objective: Assist the Gateway Trade Manager in overall commercial activities of your assigned service(s) and geographic area(s).

• Monitor vessel profile and drive the cargo mix to maximise profitability.
• Proactively recommend trade strategy, adjusting pricing and booking releases (both generally and by specific segments such as TL strategy or colour to apply).
• Monitor and understand origins’ ability and/or challenges to meet allocated volumes; help resolve issues such as pricing, feeder operations, equipment shortages; and drive discussions with origin and HO teams to fine‑tune allocations as conditions change.
• Negotiate pricing and volume commitments (MQC), drive delivery of volume commitments, and manage space allocations and ad‑hoc pricing requests.
