Trading Standards Officer

We are looking for an experienced food qualified Trading Standards Officer to join our South Coast Local Authority client on a contract basis.

If you’re qualified in Trading Standards (DTS / DCATS / equivalent) the work will involve

Food Standards inspections
Labelling & allergen compliance
Composition & authenticity checks
Sampling programmes
Misdescription & consumer protection investigations
Preparing enforcement notices & case files

You’ll be joining a proactive Public Protection team, working across a varied caseload that includes food standards work, wider TS enforcement, and multi-agency operations.
