Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor of Traffic Operations and Safety, this position supports the delivery of road safety and traffic operations initiatives across the Regional road network, with a strong emphasis on data‑driven decision‑making.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Comprehensive Road Safety Action Plan (CROSAP), including network screening, collision analysis, and identification of high‑risk locations.
- Conduct safety reviews and develop recommendations, including engineering, education, and enforcement‑related measures.
- Coordinate and support implementation of safety improvements such as signal timing adjustments, signage enhancements, and intersection modifications.
- Support the Drive Safe program through the development and implementation of public education campaigns, including initiatives focused on U‑turn safety and e‑scooter awareness and roundabout uses.
