About the role
Scholes Chartered Accountants is seeking an ambitious individual to join our growing firm. This entry‑level role provides hands‑on experience in maintaining financial records and processing VAT for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with senior accountants and assist with the preparation of year‑end accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records for a varied client portfolio using cloud software (Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks).
- VAT returns: Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and ensure compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) regulations.
