Trainee Leak Detection Technician

Overview

Our superb client is seeking a Trainee Leak Detection Technician to join them on a full‑time permanent basis working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, covering Bristol and surrounding areas. Full manual UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes and use leak detection equipment to locate leak sources.
• Carry out moisture surveys and write technical reports.
• Calibrate equipment and perform repair work on detected leaks once estimates are accepted.
• Trace and access hidden pipework.
• Arrange customer appointments.
• Execute any other related duties.

Qualifications

• Plumbing qualifications.
• At least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organised with a positive attitude.

Benefits

• Salary £27,000 – £28,000 depending on experience.
