Position Overview
The Training Programme Director in Paediatric Surgery will support the Head of School in the strategic development of the School of Surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the School’s Recruitment and Retention Strategy.
- Contribute to the School Operational Programme.
- Serve as a member of the School Board.
- Focus on whole workforce transformation and develop multi‑professional links.
Employment Conditions
Applicants from within the NHS will be offered the role on a secondment basis only; agreement must be obtained from the employer prior to application.
The end date for all new educator appointments is 31 March 2027. Potential extensions beyond this date are not guaranteed.
