Job Summary
Responsible for the implementation of pre-employment transition opportunities for high school students with disabilities.
Primary Duties
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.
+ Assess transitioning student’s strengths, barriers, skills and interests in all five areas of the Transition (1) Job Exploration Counseling; 2) Workplace Readiness Skill Building; 3) Work-based Learning Experiences; 4) Postsecondary Educational Counseling; and 5) Self-Advocacy Skill Building.
