Transport Planner
Location – Altona
About the Role
The Transport Planner is responsible for the coordinating of the day-today operations of our truck fleet nationally and ensure our products are delivered safely on time and that the movements are cost effective.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan and schedule trucks daily
- Coordinate pick-ups
- Administration support to the Senior Transport Planner
- Coordinate logistic fleet runs
- Ensure great customer service is provided
About You
To be successful you must possess the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Organisational and planning skills
- Customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
