Transportation Security Officer (TSO) – No Experience Required
TSO is a customer‐facing, non‐armed position that screens passengers and baggage at security checkpoints, checks IDs and boarding passes, helps travelers pass through security smoothly, and monitors the area for potential threats.
No prior security experience is required.
Responsibilities
Checkpoint Screening: Screen passengers, carry‐on items, and checked baggage using wands, X‐ray machines, and other security technology.
Customer Service: Check IDs and boarding passes, answer questions, and assist travelers by moving them through lines quickly and efficiently.
Bag & Person Checks: Perform pat‐downs and bag searches when alarms go off or items require a closer look.
Security Support: Monitor and control access to secure areas and follow TSA procedures at all times.
