Job Description
**_POSITION SUMMARY:_**
The Transportation Supervisor supports retail operations by managing the day-to-day execution of merchandise processing through the Distribution Network and ensure timely and accurate inbound and outbound deliveries.
**_ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:_**
+ Manages the workflow of Receiving by assigning trailers to appropriate dock doors to maximize throughput, including BOL paperwork.
+ Manages the Outbound workflow and dispatching trailers both retail and direct business units
+ Develops and maintains accuracy standards for deliveries and ensure PO’s are booked and maintained with high quality standards.
+ Aligns with business partners to resolve issues and ensure efficient service that meet business KPI’s.
+ Ensures dynamic staffing and training to meet company goals.
+ Evaluates performance indicators to ensure SOP’s are executed, without exception.
+ Effectively manages staff to meet productivity goals.
