Join a collaborative, patient-centered imaging team in Kamloops, BC. We are seeking an MRI Technologist who delivers safe, accurate, and compassionate care. Experience in fluoroscopy or cross-training in general radiography is an asset.
What you will do
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Complete thorough patient screening and education; obtain consent and monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
- Start IVs and administer MRI contrast as authorized; recognize and respond to adverse reactions.
- Operate MRI scanners, coils, and post-processing software; optimize parameters for image quality and throughput.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and the care team to prioritize, problem-solve, and ensure timely reporting.
