Job Description
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities:
Delivering Freight:-
- Run to timeslots, delivering general freight in and around the Regional, Metropolitan areas and occasionally interstate
- Travelling to various customers sites and preparing trucks to be unloaded / loaded
- Flexibility to respond to business needs at short notice
Work Health and Safety
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Performing vehicle pre-start checks
- Complete all paperwork requirements
- Perform general housekeeping of the Prime Movers / Trailers / SCT & customer premises
