Citibank, N.A. seeks an Underwriter for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Initiate and underwrite the credit approval processes of margin loans, derivative transactions, and interim credit applications for Citi Private Bank. Provide annual reviews of the existing credit relationships. Ensure timely completion of credit transactions within the standard turnaround timeframes. Ensure the framework of credit risk policies, standards, and operating procedures and manuals are followed with respect to underwriting. Conduct due diligence assessment, including risk ratings and borrower’s financial and collateral analyses, to identify off-underwriting terms and off-target market counterparties. Ensure minimum mandatory disclosures for all credit applications. Recommend credit extension approval within the limits of first line of defense, affirming that all minimum requirements are met, attesting correct risk rating, and confirming the assessed risk is within the appetite.
