University Co-Op Student - Protection & Control Engineering - 12 months - Fall 2026 Date:  May 1, 2026 
Location:  Toronto, ON, CA 
Salary:  $2,136.59 - $3,301.53 / bi-weekly 
Job Overview: You will be a member of the Protection & Control Engineering group, responsible for engineering design of protection, control, and metering systems for the transmission grid in Ontario. 
You may be placed into one of the three disciplines: 
Protection engineering – design of protection systems including power studies, IED integration, logic diagrams, and drawing markup. 
Control engineering – design of control, monitoring, and alarm systems, drawing markup, configuration files, and testing for communication systems. 
Metering engineering – design of circuits to measure load usage, billing accuracy, and calculation of measurement error and losses.
