Job Description
**Our BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our Team!**
**VA I Pay:** $21.26 - $29.10/Hr
**This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system** .
**As a MRI Veterinary Assistant, you will perform:**
+ Patient intake and triage
+ Set-up and troubleshoot MRI room and machine
+ Operating diagnostic imaging equipment (primarily MRI) and assist in capturing radiographs and other diagnostic images
+ Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement, according to associate level
+ Clear and concise discharge instructions to clients.
+ Maintenance of accurate records, including patient history, treatment details, and client communication. Assist with the completion of cost estimates.
+ Diagnostics (i.e: CBC, Chem Panel, NOVA, iSTAT, UA)
