Join us as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in a teaching support role situated in Barrie, Ontario. This position is ideal for those who enjoy mentoring students in practical veterinary skills.
We need an experienced RVT to aid in our Veterinary Technician and Assistant programs. While currently based in Orillia, this role will move to Barrie in Fall 2026. You will assist faculty during hands-on labs, instruct students in critical skills, and ensure safety measures are strictly followed, contributing to effective learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in teaching clinical and technical veterinary procedures
• Guide students in anesthesia monitoring and surgical prep
• Support faculty with student skill assessments
• Manage lab supplies and ensure safety compliance
• Keep detailed student records

• RVT in good standing, registered with OAVT
