Support adult learners in Saskatoon as a Volunteer Coach in our Literacy Program. Foster literacy skills through personalized coaching tailored to individual learning objectives.
This volunteer opportunity allows you to work closely with diverse adult learners, enhancing their skills through one-on-one sessions. You will be trained comprehensively to utilize effective resources and strategies. Scheduling is flexible, accommodating both coach and learner preferences to maximize engagement and success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with learners in personalized literacy coaching
• Develop individualized Learning Plans to track progress
• Access provided templates and materials during sessions
• Maintain communication with the Foundations Coordinator for guidance
• Solicit and implement feedback to enhance the learning experience
Requirements:
• Age requirement: Over 18 years
• Orientation attendance is mandatory
• Achieve CLB 8 level proficiency
