VP Finance - Business Group

Overview

As the VP of Finance , you will act as a key partner to the ecobee leadership team, driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and long‑term growth while acting as a strong financial steward for the organization. This role oversees core finance functions including FP&A, reporting, accounting, financial operations, treasury, and tax, while improving systems, controls, and data‑driven decision‑making across the business. Reporting to the CFO, the VP of Finance will also support strategic initiatives and M&A activity, including evaluating acquisition opportunities, leading financial due diligence, assessing synergies and risks, and supporting acquisition integration. The role follows a hybrid schedule, with in‑office work required on Wednesdays and Thursdays to support collaboration, and flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
