Job Purpose
The Warehouse Assistant position is responsible for pulling and staging orders for delivery with extreme accuracy, unloading and loading inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring specifications, quality, and quantity of orders are correct, and providing support to the Warehouse Manager for ongoing projects and daily tasks.
Description of Essential Duties
- Operate tote bag machine, bag line, labeling equipment, lot code equipment, and sample finished product equipment.
- Receive and ship feed and ingredients.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Weigh out ingredients.
- Sample ingredients.
- Assist with stocking shelves.
- Load trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain segregation of ingredients.
- Assist with inventory count and control.
- Monitor quality of inbound ingredients.
