My client, an international leader in hospitality, seeks to hire a Meeting and Events Manager.

This role will be on-site in Galway City.

Responsibilities

  • Plan meetings, conferences, weddings, and other events.
  • Create simple timelines and plans for each event.
  • Give advice and ideas to help them plan their event.
  • Work with suppliers such as catering, AV teams, decorators, and travel providers.
  • Agree on prices and services with suppliers.
  • Oversee events on the day to make sure everything runs well.
  • Manage contracts, invoices, and event budgets.
  • Requirements

  • A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field (or similar work experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience planning events.
  • Must have hotel experience- previously worked with weddings.
