Job Overview
The Welder performs high‑quality welding on pressure vessels, tanks, and structural components for aircraft refueling vehicles, ensuring compliance with ASME and aviation standards. Responsibilities include fabrication, assembling, and repairing pressure vessels, boilers, and tanks; reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. The Welder uses TIG, MIG, and stick (SMAW) welding techniques to join metal parts, prepares materials—including cutting, fitting, and cleaning—and performs welds in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead). Completed welds are inspected to ensure they meet quality and code standards. The Welder follows safety protocols and works in compliance with industry codes like ASME, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
