Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings to determine welding specifications
• Measure and mark workpieces using rulers, squares, or templates to ensure accurate welds
• Set up welding equipment according to specifications, including selecting the appropriate welding method and adjusting settings
• Operate welding equipment to fuse metal parts together by using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
