Job Description
Our client, a large name within the Public sector, is looking for a Windows Support Engineer on 1 year contract basis with a strong possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to projects and platform operations, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading our Windows server environment, both on-premise and cloud
Provide ongoing level 2 technical support, maintenance, and improvement to Bank environments
Provide direct support through a ticketing system (ServiceNOW) to application owners, developers, and related internal and external teams
Create thorough and detailed documentation (SOPs) of all changes, upgrades, procedures, user/vendor interactions, and root cause analysis
Recommend ways to improve performance, quality, and efficiency
Other related activities and deliverables, as required
