X-Ray/BMD Technologist

Overview

Upholds the Mission, Vison and Values of Michael Garron Hospital. Helps create a safe environment for patients, staff, families, physicians and volunteers. The technologist in General Radiography recognizes safety as a priority for Diagnostic Imaging. The technologist will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level that produces optimal images with independent judgment. Will be involved in teaching and evaluating students in the practical aspect of Radiography. On-the-job CT training is available for successful candidates who are currently training in Radiography. New MRT graduates are welcome. Travel is a requirement of this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Meet a standard of education with the required knowledge, skills and judgment to perform competently and professionally as a Medical Radiation Technologist
• Perform high quality General Imaging procedures using digital equipment in a fast-paced environment
