Year 1/2 Class Teacher (Job Share – Maternity Cover)
Location: Taunton Primary School
Working Days: Thursdays and Fridays
Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover, September to December)
Are you an enthusiastic teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role? Taunton Primary School is looking for an inspirational teacher to join the team on a job-share basis, covering a maternity leave for a lovely mixed Year 1/2 class.
The Role You will take the reins of a mixed Year 1/2 class every Thursday and Friday. This is a wonderfully diverse, mixed-ability class that includes children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will have the dedicated support of an experienced Teaching Assistant in the classroom to help you tailor lessons and ensure every child thrives.
The Key Stage 1 department consists of three classes in total. You will benefit from collaborative team planning with the other class teachers, meaning you get to share ideas, resources, ...
