6 Month Contract With A Local Authority Job Purpose The Youth Justice Worker is responsible for delivering effective interventions and support to children and young people involved in, or at risk of entering, the youth justice system. The role focuses on reducing offending and reoffending, promoting positive outcomes, supporting rehabilitation, and helping young people build a pro-social identity while addressing the impact of trauma. The post holder will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and local communities to ensure children and young people receive appropriate support and opportunities to achieve their potential. Key Responsibilities Deliver interventions and support tailored to the individual needs of children, young people, their families, and caregivers to reduce offending and prevent reoffending.
